And that’s why I think I find this month’s Wearables magazine article on dirty jobs so intriguing — not only are these people used to getting their hands dirty, they actually do it for a living! When I think back to some of the jobs I’ve had in my life, none of them stand out as particularly dirty. Sure, as a paper boy, my hands would become black with printing ink, and there was a stint I did as a landscaper that lasted four hours (who knew you could be allergic to mulch?), but for the most part my hands have remained relatively clean.
